We are dedicated to ensuring foster youth have clothing that not only meets their basic needs but also boosts their self-esteem. We gladly welcome in-kind donations of new clothing for children and young adults, from infants to age 21.

The best time to shop for a foster youth is when you are shopping for yourself or your family. Need ideas?  Visit and shop our current Amazon Wishlist to learn about our seasonal item needs.

What We Accept to Support Foster Youth

We love receiving donations that help foster kids and young adults feel confident and cared for! Here's what we’re looking for:

Style:

  • Trendy, youth-friendly clothing kids and teens will love.

Sizes:

  • From tiny newborns to growing teens and young adults — we welcome all sizes, including teen plus sizes.

Clothing:

  • Brand new coats, jeans, tops, pants, athletic wear, shorts, and sweatshirts.

Shoes:

  • Brand new shoes of all kinds — from baby sizes to adult.

Accessories:

  • New backpacks, wallets, sports hats, winter hats, beanies, gloves, jewelry, makeup, hair tools, and even baby gear like strollers and carriers.

Stuffed Animals:

  • New or like-new stuffed animals to bring extra smiles.

Socks, Underwear, and Bras:

  • New only, please! (We need all sizes for kids, teens, and young adults.)

Books:

  • New or gently loved board books, chapter books, and teen reads (age-appropriate for newborn through 21 years old).

A quick note:
We only accept brand new clothing, shoes, and personal items so every child feels proud and valued when receiving them. Thank you for helping us make foster youth feel special!

 Item Donations FAQs

  • Yes! We accept new toys for all ages. Please make sure toys are unopened and appropriate for children and teens.

  • Absolutely! We accept new and like-new stuffed animals. They must be clean, with no odors, stains, or missing parts.

  • We serve children and young adults from newborn through 21 years old, so all sizes and styles are needed.

  • Around 90% of the items we provide are brand new — something we’re proud of, because it’s what our youth have asked for.

    We want every foster child to feel proud and excited about what they receive. If you have a gently used item, we simply ask you to imagine it sitting next to a brand-new one. If it still shines and would make a young person smile, and it’s on our accepted items list, we would be honored to accept it.
