Why Foster Hearts?

Since 2020, Foster Hearts has been dedicated to empowering foster youth with the resources and support they need to thrive. Through programs like the Foster Hearts Store, assistance for teens transitioning out of care, and funding that helps youth chase their dreams, Foster Hearts remains a trusted ally, opening doors to brighter futures for youth in foster care.

Annual Fundraising Supports:

    • Foster Hearts Store: Providing free clothing, shoes, bedding, and essentials for children in foster care.

    • Care Kits: Supplying children entering foster care with immediate necessities like hygiene items, clothing, and comfort items.

    • Food 4 Fosters: Stocking DCYF offices with snacks for children during visits and while awaiting placement.

    • Fun 4 Fosters: Funding extracurricular activities, camps, and enrichment experiences to help foster youth grow and thrive.

    • Support for Youth Aging Out of Care: Assisting young adults transitioning out of foster care with basic needs and opportunity funding.

    Your support ensures foster youth have the essentials, experiences, and encouragement they deserve every step of the way.

What your donation can do:

❤️ $20 provides a backpack filled with school supplies for a foster youth.
❤️ $150 outfits a youth with 20+ new clothing items from the Foster Hearts Store.
❤️ $300 grants a youth's enrichment request, such as camp, sports, or music lessons.
